Denim, Jeans, huh?

Have you ever wondered where did the idea of "Jeans"come from?  Well to make  a long story short jeans are made from a material called denim.  You are probably saying duh, right? But did you know "denim" comes from a sturdy fabric called “Serge de Nîmes”, initially made in Nîmes, France, hence “de Nîmes” - “denim”.  Denim is a derivative of cotton twill that is weft together and dyed with indigo.  Denim is highly durable and as we all know can be fashionable as well.
